Costa Rica Diving Barbara & Harald, with more than 14 years experience in diving, for 7 years Scuba Instructors and for 8 years the owners of the diving center Costa Rica Diving. Because of the variety from this underwater world around the Catalina Islands we decided to become Specialty Instructors with focus Marine Biology.

Aqua Center Diving We invite you to enjoy our world of underwater adventure. Just offshore from Flamingo, the Catalina Islands are considered among the most attractive dive sites in Costa Rica. It is an area where divers often find themselves surrounded by large schools of colorful fish. When you dive the Catalinas, you may experience swimming with abundance of manta rays and stingrays.

Flamingo Dive Adventures Bob and Susan Smith are from Dallas, Texas and came to Playa Flamingo, Costa Rica several years ago on a dive vacation. They were so delighted with the excellent diving and convenience of Playa Flamingo that they visited many more times. Today they call Playa Flamingo home.

Aqua Rica Tamarindo We do snorkeling tours by boat, leaving from Tamarindo to the North to the best virgin beaches, such as Playa Carbon, Playa Real and finally the popular Playa Conchal. The tour takes you 4 hours and includes snorkeling equipment, drinks and snacks

Yellow Fin Scuba Diving Diving is still our main activity; actually it is also our passion. Scuba Diving in Guanacaste is besides Cocos Island the very best and recommended in Costa Rica . Guanacaste is a very dry region during six months of the year, from December to May. This season is the so-called Dry Season that creates the dry Tropical Forest but also the pristine and untouched clear water. The other six moths of the year it rains quiet often, but that does not really affect our sites since we are not close to Rivers. We can say that compared to the Caribbean, our visibility is not as good as theirs, clearly because of the surf and the fact that the tides of the Pacific are more extreme than the quiet Caribbean . But do not misunderstand us, we also get 60 feet of visibility in a good day.
