The Galapagos Chamber of Tourism (Camara Provincial de Turismo de Galapagos – Capturgal) is a non-profit organisation founded in 1996 (Ministerial agreement No. 0013). Its head quarters are located in Puerto Ayora, on the island of Santa Cruz - and a branch in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno (San Cristobal) -, Capturgal is dedicated to assist its almost 250 members on the four inhabited islands of the archipelago, to whom it provides services such as legal advice, technical assistance, arbitration, training and commercial references. In the accomplishment of its tasks, Capturgal takes positive actions to ensure the conservation of these extraordinary islands. Since its foundation, Capturgal has indeed been working hand in hand with the National Park of Galapagos in order to promote tourism without damaging these unique ecosystems. But, Capturgal is also dedicated for the comfort, security and well-being of the many visitors of the archipelago. In one word : dedication for quality.
