Our Hotel Monteverde Costa Rica is located in the rain forest where you can find more than 100 species of mammals including 5 species of cats, over 400 species of birds including 30 kinds of hummingbirds, tens of thousands of insect species (over 5000 species of moths) and 2,500 species of plants (420 kinds of orchids). The hotel in Monteverde is in an area acclaimed as one of the most outstanding wildlife refuges in the New World Tropics.
Approximately 15 years ago, the Hotel Quetzal Inn Monteverde started with only 3 cabins that could be rented sporadically. Later the idea of creating a family hotel in Monteverde where people could feel at home was born.
The hotel is located in the town of Santa Elena Monteverde, but isolated from the noise; this hotel is a place where people can relax and also explore Monteverde. We feel proud to be able to serve you in a family atmosphere, surrounded by abundant nature.
